aloft

Last week we photographed the aloft hotel grand opening party. What a blast, there were so many favorites I had from this event it was hard to narrow it down. Thanks to Amy who asked us to photograph it! Very cool place, you can stay there with you pet (who I think gets their own bed!) Or you can just go hang out at the bar and drink one of their cool drinks (that someday I hope to have once baby is here).
barbeque by Thyme to Entertain
the DJ (I will find his biz card and get his name right) with our photos behind him (except the second from the left)
funny guys from Meet MPLS (maybe Liz can get me both their names)
Brat Pack Radio - an awesome 80's cover band

PUSS'nBOOTS GoGo Dancers

at the end of the night, it got windy and the screen the 80's videos were playing on blew down allowing The Police to be larger than life on the side of the hotel.

Friends since HS, these girls celebrated a birthday and had thier photos taken (per tradition).

B2B Group Event - Appropriately on the subject of blogging

Sue Ginsberg of GrowthLynx asked me to photograph her B2B Group's event
held at SALO on Wednesday.
The B2B group is a Business to Business Networking
group through the MPLS Chamber of Commerce.
I wish I could have listened more as I photographed, the speaker Steve Borsch was very interesting. The topic was "Your Stake in the Ground: The Ins and Outs of Effective Blog Marketing". I picked up a few blog sites and tools to use. One thing I remember he said is that he doesn't mind spelling errors. :)
There were many more nice photos of many of the people in attendance, these are mostly people I know and have worked with on projects or committees.

Over the weekend we went with some friends to a party at the Rogue Buddha Gallery. It was so fun we are going back this friday for an opening for the new John Langford show.
